André is the Managing Director LifeSense Disease Management, one of the largest independent disease management companies in SA. He has been involved in the field of HIV/AIDS for a number of years and has attended numerous international conferences where he has gained a vast amount of knowledge relating to the disease, the economic impact, and the management thereof. He has also spoken at HIV conferences nationally and has given practical solutions to employers and business on managing HIV in the most cost effective manner.
Andre wrote a book for SEIFSA, which is a practical guide to managing the disease in the workplace.

One of the leading HIV specialists in the country and founding member of the South African HIV Clinicians Society is the LifeSense Disease Management Chief Medical Officer.
He travels worldwide to conferences, lecturing and keeping abreast with the latest medical advancements for the management and treatment of HIV.
Dr Sifris manages and oversees all training of LifeSense Disease Management Staff and Case Managers to ensure that LifeSense delivers the best possible service to our patients and our clients.
LifeSense Disease Management has a dedicated team of trained Case Managers and administrative staff, with collectively 30 years’ experience in the management of people living with HIV. All staff are trained on HIV and the treatment thereof, psychological counselling and support as well as lifestyle changes to ensure that all patients achieve improved health and optimal outcomes and remain clinically healthy, productive and active members of the community.
